Hi, I see you've contributed a lot to Kano Chronicle, would you be interested in a taskforce on oral tradition? Kowal2701 (talk) 20:24, 26 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

@Kowal2701: That sounds interesting. What will it entail? There are Wikipedias in African languages that let users contribute oral traditions without published citations, but here on the English Wikipedia, the oral traditional narratives need to be cited in published sources first. Olatunjibr2 (talk) 15:04, 9 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
The page is WP:WikiProject Anthropology/Oral tradition taskforce. It is basically a place for editors to collaborate on improving WP's coverage of oral tradition. It's still very nascent and there's lots to clarify and lots of resources to make, at the moment we're discussing the scope.
@Pgallert has been advocating for oral citations for a long time now, if you have any ideas I'd recommend contacting him Kowal2701 (talk) 15:14, 9 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
