Wikipedia content is free to use for any purpose, including commercial, so apart from US government sites, virtually nothing on the web can be copied here.

If you try again, check your text for copyright issues with Earwig. Also

• If you have a conflict of interest, you must disclose the nature of that COI.
• Headings should be in sentence case
• books should have isbn numbers
• page ranges should be endashed –, not hyphens

• The Pony Express, Sam Houston, The Erie Canal, The Transcontinental Railroad.— Italics?

• You are writing for a global audience, link eg Lutheran, grade school

Ouch, it hurts me to be corrected on dashes! I'm an en/emdash purist but must admit I've been hyphening page ranges for many years. Will correct that! Also sentence case (I've been newspaper-headlining them) and will add ISBNs.

Not sure I understand your italics comment on those proper nouns? Maybe I italicized them somewhere by mistake?

Re: COI. I have no conflict of interest re Dr. Miller. I have never met him, never studied with him, never exchanged emails, don't live in the same state he wrote about or where he lived. I do teach and study in an area on which he has written and was seeking a list of his works when I discovered there was no Wikipedia page for him. Then I found out he had died and thought perhaps someone should gather his info into a Wikipedia page.

Thanks for global audience reminder. We Americans tend to be a little myopic. :|

What is my next step? Do I give up on Dr. Miller's page, or may I start again and resubmit a new, carefully crafted version? OkieMFA (talk) 17:21, 21 February 2023 (UTC)
