Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of taxes, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Toll (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 07:16, 3 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

[For those who come here] Mmmh, fact is toll disambiguation page contains its definition, that is why I linked it. Ogoorcs (talk) 22:17, 10 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in blockchain and cryptocurrencies. Due to past disruption in this topic area, the community has enacted a more stringent set of rules. Any administrator may impose sanctions—such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks—on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on these sanctions. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Poorly sourced articles in this topic area are not acceptable. You must cite reliable sources. Cryptocurrency news sites and press releases are not reliable sources. MER-C 15:39, 18 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

@MER-C:
I have been gathering references on Wikidata during the past months or so (take a look), I deemed the article a stub because I am moving refs to wikimarkup in the article on a daily basis (help is appreciated). I added direct public blockchain references, too.
For which statement in particular do you think there's a need for better referencing?
Still missing on wikidata:
- Direct tweet by Methuselah Foundation
- Despite not having ever mentioned Dogelon, Vitalik has talked about the Shiba part of the donation on Lex Fridman podcast.
Ogoorcs (talk) 11:24, 20 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
In this context, reliable sources means the mainstream financial press. Your article cites zero reliable sources. MER-C 12:01, 20 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
Meanwhile, I have provided links to draft page and this discussion to the relevant community. Ogoorcs (talk) 08:45, 21 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
@MER-C: Do you agree on enabling the redirect? Ogoorcs (talk) 08:48, 21 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
About the sources, the one from NASDAQ isn't enough? Ogoorcs (talk) 09:27, 21 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
Redirect to where? We don't allow redirects in article space to drafts. No it is not enough - you need to cite only reliable sources, they should cover the entire content of the article, and at least three of them must be secondary sources that cover the subject in-depth. MER-C 19:29, 21 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
I am mirroring this discussion to the article talk page to have people know why it's been put in Draft. Ogoorcs (talk) 18:14, 28 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Dogelon Mars

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Dogelon Mars, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. PRAXIDICAE🌈 13:01, 19 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hello, @Praxidicae:, less than 24 hours have passed and the button is gone already. Ogoorcs (talk) 14:09, 19 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
That's why it's called speedy deletion. PRAXIDICAE🌈 14:10, 19 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Praxidicae: While the concept of speedy deletion for a page which has been in draft for the past year or so, also with two requests for peer review in talk always surprise me, can I have the honor of reviewing and fixing it together with you and @Jimfbleak: and others? Ogoorcs (talk) 14:14, 19 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Praxidicae: @Jimfbleak: If you don't want to tackle this now I'd have my life easier by having the draft page back on at least temporarly to recover commit history and code for later re-submission. I suppose it could also be an option to mail it me with the mediawiki message feature after having done a dump of it with the import tool. Could you please notify me when you do it? I'll be sure to ping back to check for confirmation. Ogoorcs (talk) 14:35, 19 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
