F1 Qualifying 1959 onwards edit

Hey Offa29. Yesterday I started adding qualifying results from the 1959 German Grand Prix onwards, but didn't realise you've recently been doing the same! I don't mean to step on your toes. If this is a project you've taken on, I'll let you finish it! Happy to work together if you'd like a hand (one season each or something) but that's up to you. Best wishes. Hi DanTicker. Thanks for asking. I'm happy to manage it on my own unless you're particularly keen to chip in. Offa29 (talk) 17:58, 29 July 2020 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by SSSB (talkcontribs) Reply

Disambiguation link notification for August 7 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 1962 German Grand Prix, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Trevor Taylor. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

User:Joseywales1961, while examining this page as a part of our page curation process, had the following comments:

In the lead of the article you say Republican candidate was U.S. Grant, in the infobox and table it says R.B. Hayes, just confirm/correct whichever it was

Edit summaries edit

Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. Thanks! November 2022 edit

Hello, I'm Mattythewhite. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, James Tarkowski, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Mattythewhite (talk) 20:48, 12 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hi Offa29. I've reverted you at Near-close near-back rounded vowel as no "Lindsey 2012" work is defined in that article. There are two Lindsey work "Lindsey 2012a" - "The British English vowel system" or "Lindsey 2012b" - "Morgen – a suitable case for treatment". If you don't mean either then a full new cite in the References section for Lindsey 2012c is needed. Similarly you've added "Lindsey 2012" to Close-mid central rounded vowe but it is undefined in that article, could you add the required cite to the references section ormlet me know what work this refers to? -- LCU ActivelyDisinterested transmissions °co-ords° 16:33, 26 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Ross, Skye and Inverness West map edit

I just noticed that your file File:RossSkyeInvernessWest1997Constituency.svg doesn't include Skye in red. Thought I'd alert you to this as I'm not the best at editing svgs myself to fix it. Thanks! Chessrat (talk, contributions) 00:40, 25 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

Also edit

"LBJ was a Democrat but Nixon was a Republican, so "also" doesn't make sense here."

Actually, in this case, the word "also" has nothing to do with political affiliation. He supported someone in 1964. He also supported someone in 1968.

However, the word "also" is indeed unnecessary linguistically, so the change isn't necessarily wrong. It's just the reasoning that needed adjustment. :) milladrive (talk) 19:39, 2 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
