Halo Masum, I made a page and need to add location on it from Google map, unfortunately the map isnt as expected. It only shows the link instead of a some kind of table with location in it. I browsed and found out that it may need a widget, But still i didnt know how to use it. Can you help me to fix it?
And one other thing, how to get adopted? Can work for Wikipedia too?
Best regards --Ocyid X (talk) 20:00, 14 June 2017 (UTC)
- Using Google Maps is problematic because Google's maps are copyrighted and not freely licensed. Possibly you're just looking for Template:Infobox waterfall? That template produces a box with various kinds of information and also allows you to give coordinates.
- For adoption see Wikipedia:Adopt-a-user.
- For job offerings by the Wikimedia Foundation, see wmf:Work with us.
- Masum Ibn Musa may have additional advice. Huon (talk) 22:24, 14 June 2017 (UTC)

I made an article in Wikipedia that I translate from Wikipedia Bahasa Indonesia, is it okay if I only added the source page without adding further citation, since the citing page in the original article is nowhere to be found? Btw, how to add categories? i tried to browse it, but it is confusing thanks

- Other wikipedias can't be used as references, otherwise you need independent verifiable sources to show that the topic is notable. Also, there's a script that you can easily add categories called HotCat. To enable the script, go to your gadgets section of your preferences, check the box that says HotCat, then click "save".
