May 2016 edit

  Welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, including your edits to Onecoin, but we cannot accept original research. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. NewEnglandYankee (talk) 17:24, 16 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

  Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles as you apparently did to Onecoin. Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. RickinBaltimore (talk) 17:30, 16 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

  Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's no original research policy by adding your personal analysis or synthesis into articles, as you did at Onecoin, you may be blocked from editing. NewEnglandYankee (talk) 17:56, 16 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Cahk (talk) 18:24, 16 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

  You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you remove or blank page content or templates from Wikipedia. Cahk (talk) 18:27, 16 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked temporarily from editing for edit warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.  Widr (talk) 18:33, 16 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

  • That was a very bizarre rant you put on my user page. Needless to say, I won't be sharing my skype or facebook accounts. I seldom use them, but for personal use only, not Wikipedia stuff. Let me offer you this, once you told me you were "trying to get the truth out" [1] I knew someone would be blocking you soon. You can't go on a rampage like that. Wikipedia isn't about The Truth®, it is about facts that we can verify through quality secondary sources. Second, I didn't help any bad bloggers. I semi-protected the page so new users can't edit war on it. That is specifically what the community asks me to do, so I comply. You obviously have a conflict of interest here and shouldn't be editing the article directly anyway. Dennis Brown - 18:14, 31 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
  • Dennis that was a very bizarre action you put on the onecoin page, but that ok you have proven to me to be a simple minded fool that call bloggers who are nothing more then penny chasing parasites as facts, i have lost all my respect for wiki and now see it as the joke it is, a blogger makes a blog says a sentence refrence his own fricking blog, you guys dont let honest people like me who are not bloggers clear it up and cause i cant reference the actual sources you gonna allow loser bloggers to be the source for the next 30 days your actions proves your nothing more then a dumbass yourself just as low life as the penny chasing parasites i ask you for help to do this proper so i can reference actual goverenments and real authorities you reply the above like a jack ass and offer no help... LOSER!!! Thanks for nothing! OCtruth (talk) 18:39, 31 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
  • Also Dennis the dumbass i was blocked back may 16 cause i thought losers were editing it back to oringinal didnt know how wiki works and now i need to wait longer to get the real facts there cause your a jackass/dumbass

  You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you make personal attacks on other people. Comment on content, not on fellow editors. -- GB fan 18:54, 31 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

  • How do you allow this false information, you guys bring this on yourself with being full of shit i am attacking the content the content that your dam editor will not let me comment on he is silencing the truth, is this wiki style? OCtruth (talk) 19:01, 31 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

Managing a conflict of interest edit

  Hello, OCtruth. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about in the article Onecoin, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
  • instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. Thomas.W talk 19:54, 31 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
