Hi! Well, since nothing is ever lost, I can restore the text...but if you're writing about yourself, there's an issue of self-promotion and conflict of interest, covered here. Notability is also important, covered here. I can create a user subpage for you and post the text there. That will give you online access, but off of the main article space. PMDrive1061 (talk) 01:47, 6 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Oops...I just found it; it was deleted for a lack of content. A single sentence isn't enough to keep the contribution up on the article space. PMDrive1061 (talk) 01:49, 6 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Before I forget, here's the link to your subpage: User:O7oleg/Oleg Yefimov. You may find this helpful as well. Thanks for your contributions.  :) PMDrive1061 (talk) 01:53, 6 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Well, the subpage as you've created it is exactly what I was talking about, so you're off to a good start. You're doing a good job of keeping the tone neutral, but you need to establish some notability. The best way to do that is through verifiable third-party sources. In other words, hav you had any prior major media coverage? If so, links to those articles are necessary because without them, the article would get clobbered for a lack of notability. Do keep up the good work and please feel free to ask myself or anyone for help to get the article up to speed.--PMDrive1061 (talk) 23:22, 6 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Oleg yefimov edit

A tag has been placed on Oleg yefimov requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles – see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. noq (talk) 17:59, 24 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

September 2010 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. If you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors; and
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).

Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. MrOllie (talk) 18:02, 24 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of List of Startup Grind Directors edit

You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.

Thank you.

A tag has been placed on List of Startup Grind Directors, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an acceptable page. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item G11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this page is not blatant advertising,  . Clicking that button will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. You are welcome to edit the page to fix this problem, but please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. As well as removing promotional phrasing, it helps to add factual encyclopaedic information to the page, and add citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the page will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Jd027 (talk) 18:11, 24 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of File:Oleg Yefimov.jpg edit

The file File:Oleg Yefimov.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Uploaded for Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Oleg Yefimov. No other use.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. --Minorax«¦talk¦» 14:17, 19 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
