CSD tag removal

Please don't remove CSD G12 tags without addressing the underlying issue at the article (i.e. removing the offending content). In the case of Richard Morton (UK comedian), the only information not lifted from the copyrighted source is totally unsourced and thus cannot be kept either, so G12 does apply despite the article text not being 100% copyright violations. The copyright-violating text is directly lifted from an online resume, so WP:G11 CSD concerns apply as well. Finally, the correct venue for standard deletion is WP:AfD, not WP:RfC. I'd suggest that you refrain from removing CSD tags until you're more familiar with deletion work in general, as even when well-intended such edits can be disruptive. _signed, Rosguill ^talk 23:59, 24 May 2020 (UTC)

National People's Congress

Not directly related to this dispute, but a few days ago P deleted a comment of mine from her Talk page (within her rights), but did it by transferring the comment to an article. On P's Talk page I then advised that deleting would have been OK, but moving not, and please go to the article and delete it from there. I mention this as an example of P being a relatively new Wikipedia editor who has in that situation and in this National People's Congress situation, editing her own content on a Talk page after other editors have been involved. P is User talk:PhysiqueUL09. I have no direct relation to the case. My comment is about an example on that Talk page of PhysiqueUL09 deleting/moving my comment. As I understand it, the case involves PhysiqueUL09 modifying comments in a Talk exchange. David notMD (talk) 03:09, 26 May 2020 (UTC)

Huh. As I saw it, the dispute was merely a content issue, not one of conduct. However, the case was posted by PhysiqueUL09, and CaradhrasAiguo has not responded yet. Warning, wall of text... Well I did move David notMD stuff from my talk page to the talk page of the article he was writing about. It was in good faith I though it was relevant and I did not want to delete everything he said because it was instructive. He asked me to remove it and I did and he pointed me to the right talk page etiquette reference. Which I appreciated. What he's referring about is somewhat of a dispute I had with the other user. He said I did a personal attack, which might have been perceived that way, but I told him it was more of the wording I used rather than actually targetting him. There's also a small language barrier in my case and when I edit pages I take way more time to reread my words than what I do in talk pages. What happened is that in his NPR talk he recalled every mistake I made (getting blocked on my first day because I didn't know about edit warring, "spamming" people because I was confused as to what was happening, etc, etc.) and used it as an argument for my NPR being voluntary. It was very belligerent and all these recalls where insulting. I removed them and I let the actual NPR talk, what he has been saying that was not a blatant attempt at hurting my reputation. I left the rest because I felt I still needed to explain myself and apologize. Anyway... Thing is, it took like 1m after I wrote that 1 sentence for him to come screaming on my talk page. And I think he actually said I was rambling in the article's talk page because of one of my arguments. So yeah, the content dispute is surrounded by a big nonsense fuss that I wanted to be ended. I don't assume anything but it felt belligerent from his part. And also the fact that David notMD wrote here in secret is a bit concerning. But I only been here a couple of days and at first I thought that everyone was condescending... I did not understand what was going on with all the WP:THIS and rule of that and whatever. And whenever I made mistakes it seemed to me like people only pointed them out and never explained what had happened I was blocked without ever knowing that all that WP:STUFF nonsense where rules... That sucked very much. So after 2-3 days of feeling like (Redacted) having the WP imposter syndrome, I became just like them and wasn't thinking of nothing else but revenge to those that were not considering the fact that I didn't know how it all worked. Found out today that's not how it works and left all the pandemic, China stuff alone and started working on my pet project here. Anyway, it's still weird for me and I still find some to be extremely rude and condescending, but I decided to WP:DROPTHESTICK... What I now think its that WP repels newcomers pretty much the same way Dark Souls does. Whenever you want to go on a hike, you end up with a spear up your (Redacted). That SHOULD be addressed someday because the learning curve is basically a step function. Hope that helps. Firstly, what does NPR stand for/mean? I'm still kind of new to this too. Secondly, the DRN case is about a completely unrelated page, and about content, not conduct. If either of you want dispute resolution for conduct related issues, you should go somewhere else, perhaps an administration noticeboard or, if it's very serious, arbitration. (I think I should make it clear that arbitration is only for the most serious of cases. There's only one active right now, and most of them last over a month.) Thirdly, I would advise you not to accuse people of acting in secret. My guess is that he didn't know if it was relevant to the DRN case, and he also didn't know the etiquette rules regarding DRN and thought that it would most likely be okay to post on my talk page. @O-dog222: It's okay now I just dropped the stick and it went away. I also am new here but I've been doing a lot of stuff and finally understood how it works. I was wondering if we can advance the DRN we have. I don't think it's relevant anymore because the page changed a lot, it is a live subject afterall. I'll wait for your answer.
