  Hello, Number 1 Law Man. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest. People with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, see the conflict of interest guideline and frequently asked questions for organizations. In particular, please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, its competitors, or projects and products you or they are involved with;
  • instead, propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use require disclosure of your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation.

Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing, and autobiographies. Also, if you are editing in connection with work for which you are paid, Wikipedia's terms of use require you to say so. You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for making legal threats or taking legal action. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

You are not allowed to edit Wikipedia while the threats stand or the legal action is unresolved.  HighInBC 00:30, 9 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

HighInBC Unfair Practice and I never said anything about a law suit. I was saying to be mindful since this is a public site. One of the comments made about AIU were along the lines of defamation. I never accused anyone, nor threaten a LAW SUIT. I was saying it in a way whereas you would advise your little brother or sister to be careful of certain things. FYI, when a Law Suit is filed or plans to be filed, it's a very quiet task. Meaning, A lawyer will never boast and threaten a law suit. They usually file the suit and wait for a response. If you boast about a suit, you give the other side time to prepare. I was only looking out for Wikipedia and being helpful as well as giving free legal advise to help. I'm requesting to be unblocked as I find Wikipedia quiet interesting. On my free time I would like to make edits and suggestions etc. Thank you. Number 1 Law Man (talk) 04:34, 9 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

As HighInBC says below, you're using legal threats as a bludgeon. We don't tolerate this. --jpgordon::==( o ) 05:51, 9 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

It was pretty clear over the last few days you have been trying to intimidate people with veiled legal threats. You very carefully avoided actually making a threat while clearly trying to have a chilling effect on the article. Reviewing admin please review Wikipedia:Administrators'_noticeboard/Incidents#Possible_legal_threat and the diffs there. HighInBC 05:50, 9 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

HighInBC Ok. I am requesting that you deactivate my account. There is no need to have an account if it's blocked. It's not that serious. Again, if there was a Law Suit coming, we would already be in the Litigation Phases by now. Have a good one! Number 1 Law Man (talk) 13:22, 9 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

Per your request your account I have "deactivated" you account, at least the closest thing we have to deactivation. If you wish to further contest this block you can do so via WP:UTRS. HighInBC 14:42, 9 October 2015 (UTC)Reply
