Red Jumpsuit Apparatus

edit

Many reviewers and music critics have routinely referred to RJA as emo. I have provided several reviews that state as much and can provide more if need be. If you wish to challenge this, you will have to come up with empirical support for your belief that they are not emo. (And to be honest, I don't know how you would do so; maybe statements from the bandmembers where they say "we are not emo"?) But ultimately, what makes a band emo? Well, when people call them emo. There's no other way to define the term that can be supported by reliable sources and that is what Wikipedia requires. Chubbles 22:33, 20 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Addition: For what it's worth, why does it bother you so much that they are called emo? Chubbles 22:34, 20 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Interaction with Irishguy

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, we must insist that you assume good faith while interacting with other editors, which you did not on User talk:Irishguy. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. I realize that it can be frustrating to have hard work editied and/or deleted, but I strongly encourage you to consider a different tact. It is very easy in a scenario such as this in which you are essentially anonymous to get angry by typing in all caps. This practice is generally considered offensive in some cases. If I may suggest, state your case as completely anf calmly as possible. Cite facts, not feelings. If you are not satisfied, consider taking your case to an administrator. I wish you well and the best of luck LonelyBeacon 23:11, 29 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot 23:42, 29 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
