Orphaned non-free media (Image:WaterTribeInsignia.svg) edit

Thanks for uploading Image:WaterTribeInsignia.svg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:27, 30 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hello edit

Hello, I see you've made some changes to Whirled. Thanks for all the help with the artical article. I did some work on it my self a while ago since I'm a member. I have not been on Whirled for a month or 2 and I can use all the help I can get. What is your Whirled name? Mine is currently "The Fool on the Hill (Ezekiel)". Best Regards.--Ezekiel 7:19 †alk 14:10, 5 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

My Whirled name is "Nuck Chorris". I started editing the Whirled article because when I first saw it, I noticed that much of the information was old, wrong, and full of grammatical and spelling errors. I really hated to see an article about such a great game be so horrible, so I decided to try and fix it up as best I could.—– Nuck Chorris (talk) 17:56, 5 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
I see what you mean by that, Well I'm a member of Whirled totoo, My current name is John Lennon, and I do know Sir Burger. I pretty much started this artical article way back in the alpha stage. It still needs improvements I know, and the reason I deleateddeleted the examples given was because I gave them a while back and then thought that they might not be needed. You may want to create a Wikipedia membership page too. Well mail me on here or Whirled any time. Pleasure to meet you.Best Regards--Ezekiel 7:19 †alk 15:38, 12 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
Well, Ezekiel/John Lennon, I updated the games list to list some of the top games at the time of editing, and I felt that it needed it. Also, a wikipedia membership page? How do I do that, and what is it? —– Nuck Chorris (talk) 16:15, 13 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
Well it's actually very simple to create a Wikipedia "User Page". I'll give you a 3 step process, to see an example click here. Strange how you can create userboxes but not your own page. If the boxes are yours.
  1. First Log in to your account
  2. Then click on Nuck Chorris 0 as it appears at the top of the screen.
  3. Fill in the blank edit space however you want it.

Since you don't currently have a page your signature appears red. You can make your page much more complicated as you learn to use this site better. I actually stopped playing Whirled for a while to learn the aspects of Wikipedia. Any questions leave a message on my talk page or here. I tend to respond faster if messages are left on my page though. Best Regards.--Ezekiel 7:19 †alk 18:53, 17 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Well, I Actually have been at work on a user page for quite some time now, though I've done all work in a sandbox subpage so I could work out bugs and finalize the design before actually setting it as my userpage. I have had very little time to work more on it lately, since the semester started and teachers have been piling work up on us. Another reason why it has been taking so long is simply because it takes time and work to make a non-template userpage while trying to learn what you're doing at the same time.
Oh - I'm also a programmer, a quick learner, and a web developer, so designing the page should be a breeze once I have the layout finalized, and I have the more complex code mastered (or close to). I just didn't understand what you meant by userpage. Also, what userboxes are you referring to?—– Nuck Chorris (talk) 01:27, 18 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
Well good luck with that page your making, I don't exactly have to worry that much about that considering I'm still a sophmore in high school and I do work on Wikipedia during my free periods and study halls. I haven't quite mastered coding and programming but I have a friend in school to help me, he actually plays Whirled to, his name is Ferdinand Black. I actually hang out with a lot of administrators of this site so if you need help just ask them. I would recommend Xenocidic for help because he's always there for me. Also if your wondering about a good status keeper I would reccomend Qui because it's simple to use and keeps track of your friends who use it. And when I mentioned the userboxes I meant the ones on your subpages. I have made userboxes too, not that there great but people use them. Best Regards.--Ezekiel 7:19 †alk 11:55, 18 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
Actually, I too am a Sophomore in High School. I've just been doing Wikipedia and Whirled after school and on weekends. I'm a self-taught programmer of Javascript, ActionScript (still learning), Perl, HTML, and BASIC (not much use anymore). I'm 14, a sophomore in a small charter high school in Modesto, CA (home to Scott Peterson and George Lucas). —– Nuck Chorris (talk) 22:43, 18 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
Dang, I'm outgunned, outranked, and outnumbered by some guy younger than me. I feel weak in comparison. Oh well my good friend Tim is good at this stuff too. Well I look forward to seeing your finished page. Cherrio!--Ezekiel 7:19 †alk 15:37, 19 September 2008 (UTC) P.S. George Lucas is amazing! And my school is host to a famous radio talk show host.Reply
I actually didn't mention that I do computer artwork, using Inkscape and Adobe Photoshop Elements 4.0. Plus, I consider programming a hobby, and I started years ago with BASIC. I can't pinpoint the exact time, but I know it was long ago. —– Nuck Chorris (talk) 00:20, 21 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
You say actually lot my friend, well here's a userbox from of me to you. (Awesome Beatles Song)

I was about to vote "*Favor" under your comment about attempts at utopia leading to dystopia, but I doubt that would have aided the dialog much! Thanks Nuck! Student7 (talk) 22:01, 11 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
