Maganti Suryanarayana Pantulugaru

Maganti Suryanarayana or Pantulugaru as he was fondly called by his admirers was one of the greatest businessmen from Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. He is widely popular among the Brahmin fraternity and Hindus in general, becauase of his liberal donations to various social causes and charities.

He was a Dealer for the Premier Automobiles Ltd., a Walchand Hirachand group company, and Tractors and Farm Equipment Ltd., (TAFE), an Amalgamations Group Company, in several districts of Andhra Pradesh. His empire was known by the name Bezwada Motor Stores.

His marketing prowess earned him a great admiration with Mr.Walchand Hirachand, Chairman of Walchand Group, and also Mr.Anantharamakrishnan, Chairman of the Amalgamations Group, among others. He is still highly admired and respected by their respective heirs, Mr.Vinod Doshi and Mr.A.Sivasailam.

He enjoyed wide social contacts, among them were many a IAS, IPS, Judiciary, and Political personalities.
