Coming

Hey there. Thanks for your input. I was planning to add more detail and sourcing for all the different types of Arab salads. I'm a little busy right now, but will get to it in the coming days. Tiamuttalk 11:22, 2 April 2009 (UTC)

Cathedrals

Re pic, I just moved the two new pics that had been squeezed in. Yours, and one from Poland. The formatting was finally in line with wiki style manual, and then all of a sudden, it wasn't! Re the co-cathedrals, I don't think it necessary that every single point is illustrated. A co-cathedral really isn't much different to a pro-cathedral, or any other cathedral when it comes to appearances. There was a very big gallery with everybodys cathedral in it, but it has been deleted, along with a lengthy description of the system in England, specifically (moved elsewhere). One of the problems with adding extra pics is that they appear to fit if your screen is relatively narrow. If you are looking at it on a wide screen, one of the problems of too many pics is that they cause headings to get separated from the text that they pertain to. Hope you're nnot offended. I'm sure the pic will fit in somewhere on a more specific page. Amandajm (talk) 14:41, 7 April 2009 (UTC)

Galveston

Hello, hope you can help out with this article. It really needs some TLC. For now, I'm adding some content to the almost empty sections - then I'll expand each section. The economy section is difficult, need to balance pre and post Ike. Your photography is incredible. Thanks, Postoak (talk) 02:12, 9 April 2009 (UTC)

I have quite a few articles from various media sources bookmarked....so I'll add them in as time permits; hopefully we can get it sounding more like a encyclopedia entry and not a tourism brochure. As for Ike....the page needs to fairly represent the storm's impact, without it becoming repository for every photo and snippit of information about the destruction. The Ike photo farm has some really visually interesting photos, but I think its being given undue weight, and should be pruned. There is a Effects of Hurricane Ike in Texas entry, so if people object to the removal, maybe some can be relocated there. It would be great if we could get this up to GA. --Nsaum75 (talk) 07:58, 9 April 2009 (UTC)
The History section missing a chunk of time from approx. 1907 to 1991. Yikes! Postoak (talk) 08:18, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
I'll work on that tonight. I have Houston Chronicle and Houston Post articles going back to 1985 and stuff to reference out of ...books.... I just have to figure out how to properly reference it on here. --Nsaum75 (talk) 00:14, 14 April 2009 (UTC)
