Kim D. Herring, born June 12th in Wilmington, N.C., is an American born menswear designer. Kim began his career at Rubenstein's in New Orleans and then relocated to N.Y. City where he worked for Hugo Boss before moving onto Ermenegildo Zegna.

Kim was instrumental in developing the sportswear collection at Zegna and helped grow the brand in the American market. Kim is credited with bringing the under button collar to the US market. His outerwear and sweaters have been replicated in many variations.

After leaving E.Zegna, Kim consulted, launched his own line and then took on an in house residency designing for Saks Fifth Avenue's men's brand. He has helped bring the SFA Collection to the forefront of men's fashion for both aesthetic and price/value relationship.

Kim enjoys hiking, spending times with his two dogs and golfing.
