Re: Prompts for password constantly, you can run an SSH agent in the background which can remember which SSH keys you gave a correct passphrase for, so you only need to enter the password once per OS session (or for some configurable timespan). I haven't used Windows for a while but the popular choice used to be Pageant from PuTTY. Tgr (WMF) (talk) 04:54, 26 January 2023 (UTC)
