Some cookies to welcome you!

Welcome to Wikipedia, Notanonymous0! I am CordeliaNaismith and have been editing Wikipedia for quite some time. I just wanted to say hi and welcome you to Wikipedia! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page or by typing {{helpme}} at the bottom of this page. I love to help new users, so don't be afraid to leave a message! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Oh yeah, I almost forgot, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome!

February 2010

Hello. Regarding the recent revert you made to Mary MacKillop: you may already know about them, but you might find Wikipedia:Template messages/User talk namespace useful. After a revert, these can be placed on the user's talk page to let them know you considered their edit was inappropriate, and also direct new users towards the sandbox. They can also be used to give a stern warning to a vandal when they've been previously warned. Thank you.  -- Lear's Fool (talk | contribs) 05:47, 10 February 2010 (UTC)

Fighting Vandalism

Hi there! Thanks for your work reverting vandalism: you seem to have a knack for it. Have a read of WP:VANDALISM to get some advice on what to look for and how to deal with it. Also, vandalism reversion can be a bit of a tedious task, and there are a couple of things you can do to make it easier. From the look of your contributions, a tool called Twinkle might be useful. It's a set of JavaScript functions that help you to revert large numbers of unhelpful edits, as well as making warning vandals easier. It works best on Firefox, but a couple of other browsers are compatible with it as well. If you decide to install it (again, see WP:TWINKLE), you may want to do some testing before you use it on articles, and if you want some help setting up your own personal sandbox to do this, check out WP:User page#How to create a user subpage.

Here are some other pages you may find helpful:

Thanks again for your contributions, and if you have any questions whatsoever, please feel free to leave a note on my talk page! Again, Welcome! -- Lear's Fool (talk | contribs) 06:04, 10 February 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for the links; unfortunately I still must wait 1 more day in order to be autoconfirmed so I can use Twinkle. Notanonymous0 (talk) 05:37, 11 February 2010 (UTC) (I use semicolons a lot)
You're welcome. Just so you know, when you reply to someone's comment on your talk page, you can add the talkback template to their talk page to let them know you've responded. It tends to make conversations easier to keep track of. Happy editing! -- Lear's Fool (talk | contribs) 06:11, 11 February 2010 (UTC)

Ajith Kumar

I hear you, that was just getting insane. And all of a sudden, the user's gone. There's nobody looking at AIV apparently, which is an all too common problem. Thanks for the vandalism help. Keep up the good work. Shadowjams (talk) 07:19, 11 March 2010 (UTC)

Unneeded notices

Can you delete orphaned image notice from User talk:Wikinger? Banned users do not need such notices at all, and he got this notice after being banned. I only did cleanups in his sock list to better monitor his activities and to have easier control when fixing his fixations. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.191.237.90 (talk) 18:50, 25 March 2010 (UTC)

I don't think that removal of the notice is necessary. NotAnonymous0 (talk) 19:35, 25 March 2010 (UTC)

AfD tag for Latino Youth Alternative High School

You need to place that tag on the article and should notify the article creator. --Morenooso (talk) 05:00, 31 March 2010 (UTC)

Weird, it always did that automatically before. NotAnonymous0 did I err?|Contribs 05:02, 31 March 2010 (UTC)
BTW, a user can blank their talkpage even if it has warnings on it. Any Admin or smart editor knows to check a user's talkpage history. Ergo, that comment in your AfD initial agrument was weak and/or viewed as being said by someone who does not know what I state here. I just noticed it when the AfD got the second KEEP. I guess you did not put the helpme template on your talkpage to get help in closing the AfD. As a Page Patroller, I have nominated a school article for Speedy Delete that had copyvio problems similar to what you put here. The reviewing admin declined the nomination. Not all admins are the same or hold the same view. In fact, some may not what I said as my KEEP argument: schools are usually considerable notable in and of themselves is used by admins who decline such a Speedy Delete. I've seen it several times since I initiated an SD. --Morenooso (talk) 07:59, 31 March 2010 (UTC)
  • Regarding this AFD, I saw that you had withdrawn it, and since it had no other outstanding delete votes, I went ahead and closed it. If you're ever curious in the future how to close out an AFD, there are instructions on how at WP:DELPRO. Umbralcorax (talk) 14:33, 31 March 2010 (UTC)

Rollback

I have granted rollback rights to your account; the reason for this is that after a review of some of your contributions, I believe you can be trusted to use rollback correctly, and for its intended usage of reverting vandalism, and that you will not abuse it by reverting good-faith edits or to revert-war. For information on rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback and Wikipedia:Rollback feature. If you do not want rollback, just let me know, and I'll remove it. Good luck and thanks. Re: Miss Universe 2013

Hi... If an editor removes a prod tag it shouldn't be restored. Any editor is entitled to remove such a tag: it aborts the prod and if others still feel the article should be deleted, it needs to be taken to AfD. Cheers. --RrburkeekrubrR 01:08, 2 April 2010 (UTC)

Sorry, I confused it for a CSD tag. NotAnonymous0 did I err?|Contribs 01:15, 2 April 2010 (UTC)

User Box Question

Hello NotAnonymous0! How do you shorten the name of a userbox so you do not have to display all of the information. I have read the page but I still do not understand. Please help! Thanx —Preceding unsigned comment added by Capybara123 (talkcontribs) 00:27, 22 April 2010 (UTC)

Every box has to be on a page by itself to be able to shorten the name. If it is already, you can add it to your page by putting the name of the page between double curly brackets {{}}. For example, the page User:NotAnonymous0/Userboxes/Userbox_Error contains a userbox that I made. You can put this one on your page by adding {{User:NotAnonymous0/Userboxes/Userbox_Error}} on it. If it is not on a page yet, you can create the page in User or Template space (See WP:UBX#Which namespace? here for more about creating the page) and put the code on it. If you need more information see the Help Desk. NotAnonymous0 did I err?|Contribs 00:39, 22 April 2010 (UTC)

Hey Friend. Thanks for reverting the vandalism on my userpage. Apparently the vandal was someone who knew me on a MMORPG I used to play and since I use the same name for everything he found me here. Thanks again! -- RandorXeus. 17:38, 9 July 2010 (UTC)
