Thank you.

A tag has been placed on Rexpride, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be unambiguous advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item G11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising,  . Clicking that button will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the article's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. You may freely add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this.

April 2012 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. While everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, one of your recent file uploads, such as File:A447IbstockRoad.jpg, had missing or false information regarding its source and copyright status. Please note that Wikipedia takes copyright and copyright infringement very seriously. Images and other media may only be uploaded and included if their copyright status meets the conditions stated in our image use policy, and if their provenance is clearly documented. If you have questions, feel free to ask at the copyright question page or on my talk page. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 20:08, 12 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Your contributed article, A42 road (United Kingdom) edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I notice that you recently created a new page, A42 road (United Kingdom). First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page - A42 road (England). Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at A42 road (England) - you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think that the article you created should remain separate, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. GILO   A&E 10:33, 13 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Advice edit

Please note:

  • re this edit: we do not copy images from the Commons - we use them from the Commons - that is what it is for, and
  • generally we do not specify a size for thumbs - it overrides a user option
  • re this edit: Maghera and Carnlough are not in Great Britain!
  • you created A42 road (United Kingdom): quite apart from the incorrect title, you created this by copying rendered text into an edit box, thereby destroying all wiki markup. On the rare occasions where it is appropriate to copy&paste, you do so from edit box to edit box.

Further advice edit

You have now made two edits to roads referencing 'Appleby Manga' - one could be excused as a typo but two suggest perpetuation of an unfunny joke. Please understand that continuing with edits of this nature will be considered disruptive behaviour. You seem to be genuinely trying to find your feet here but please understand that Wikipedia now has many years experience of coping with unhelpful edits so, quite frankly, it's not worth you trying with them. • Please leave this article alone! You are incorrect on all counts. Consult a proper atlas, and you will see that the A41 does not start in "The City of London" and does not go through Berkhamsted any longer, and does not terminate in Liverpool. -- Gareth Griffith-Jones (talk) 12:02, 21 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

A511 road (Atherstone-Burton) moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, A511 road (Atherstone-Burton), does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Your draft article, Draft:A511 road (Atherstone-Burton) edit

Hello, NoseyFruitcake3. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "A511 road".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! HasteurBot (talk) 00:00, 27 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
