Draft:Cambodian Music Awards moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, Draft:Cambodian Music Awards, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of \"Draft:\" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the \"Submit your draft for review!\" button at the top of the page. December 2020 edit

Hello, I'm Ost316. I noticed that you recently removed content from Small World Small Band (SWSB) without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Rather than blanking pages, please use a deletion process process or merge content. Ost (talk) 16:17, 15 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

When and How many year restored this article ? Norasky53 (talk) 16:23, 22 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

I am unclear what you are asking. If you are asking about when the article on the album can be made an article instead of a redirect, then that would depend on when reliable sources are found and presented to deomnstrate notability. Wikipedia is created by a collaboration of volunteers, so no one person can definitively answer questions about timing or editing. The best approach would be to create the article at Draft:2x5 (album) and use the Articles for Creation process to address concerns and improve the article before moving it to mainspace.
Please also be aware that editors will not know that you responded to them unless they come looking for responses or you notify then with {{ping}}. —Ost (talk) 02:18, 23 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

I wrote and compiled it once, but you deleted it. Norasky53 (talk) 04:31, 23 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

I made some edits to the page to try to keep the content related to the topic, but it was another user that replaced it with a redirect. That replacement was in-line with the notability guideline for ablbums, so the best course of action would be to rewrite the article in draftspace at Draft:2x5 (album). For your convenienece and so that the page retains the edit history, I have moved the page to the draft location and reverted the changes that made it a redirect. As you use the WP:AfC process to get the draft moved to mainspace, volunteers in the process will review the content and offer further suggestions as to what would be needed to make the article remain in the English Wikipedia. I will try to remember to look at this page to respond if you have additional comments or questions, but it would be helpful if you used {{ping|Ost316}} to alert me that you have responded and may want a reply. —Ost (talk) 05:32, 23 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Welcome! edit

Hello, Norasky53, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your recent edits to the page 2x5 (SWSB) did not conform to Wikipedia's verifiability policy or manual of style, and may have been edited or removed. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations verified in reliable, reputable print or online sources or in other reliable media. They should also focus on the subject of the article. Always provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles.

I'm sorry if it has been unclear, but my recent edits to 2x5 (SWSB) pages have been to copyedit the articles to meet our manual of style and to add tags to indicate information that is missing in the article. For instance, 2x5 (SWSB) does not currently have enough references to indicate that it is a notable album by meeting the requirements of WP:NALBUM. As such, it is vulnerable to being nominated for deletion and removed from Wikipedia. I added the currently empty reception section, as that is generally used to demonstrate critical or commercial success that would help to demonstrate notability. —Ost (talk) 18:09, 16 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
I also should have mentioned that I added the {{When?}} tag because your text had "currently" in it; Wikipedia text should us relative time references. Thank you for contributing, Ost (talk) 19:42, 16 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

thank for intro this Norasky53 (talk) 02:49, 17 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Infoboxes edit

Please do not hardcode infoboxes into articles; the code increases the size of the article and if left unnoticed can hinder editing for users on low-end devices. Instead, please consider looking for an appropriate infobox at WP:IB and transcluding it with appropriate parameters. Jalen Folf (talk) 06:35, 17 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

December 2020 edit

Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Aok Sokunkanha, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you.  dummelaksen  (talkcontribs) 13:19, 22 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Aok Sokunkanha. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you.  dummelaksen  (talkcontribs) 14:00, 22 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hello. I wanted to let you know that in your recent contributions to 2x5 (album), you seemed to act as if you were the owner of the page. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to Wikipedia. This means that editors do not own articles, including ones they create, and should respect the work of their fellow contributors. If you create or edit an article, remember that others are free to change its content. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. There is no governor of Wikipedia and editors are volunteers, but there are still policies and guidelines to help keep the project maintainable and to provide a relatively uniform experience for readers from article to article. Rather than removing content with broad edit summaries, please consider engaging in discussion with the editors or seek help if, for instance, you are unclear of how you can demonstrate notability for subjects. You do not need website references and can use print references, but the burden is on the editor adding content to demonstrate that the content should be included in Wikipedia. Albums should meet the requirements in WP:NALBUM, which also suggests merging the content to the group if the album cannot be shown to be notable. If sources are later found to show notability for the album, the redirect may be replaced with a proper article. Ost (talk) 16:21, 22 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
