If there is something you especially wanted to write/edit about dogs, just go ahead! Otherwise there are lots of articles that need work: see

Category:Dogs articles needing attention and stubs that need expanding on Category:Dog stubs.

Hi, you need to use images that are already on the Commons or that you own (have made) yourself, and are willing to upload to let anyone use. I'm pretty sure you would not be allowed to use a trademarked or copyrighted logo. Search here for images: Commons Main Page

Also, the reason why the list of links on the page looks funny is probably because you have left a space between the edge of the page and the "*". Remove the space and it should look OK.--Hafwyn (talk) 19:29, 6 June 2008 (UTC) (still just learning this stuff myself)
