Who am I or what am I
Some call me a Legioneela Advocate, Others a Legionella Nut or Legionella Fan some stronger than that
I host the largest pages on the net for Legionnaires' disease on four different servers,I run the only english speaking support Group and Discussion Group on the Internet for the disease The discussion group has some of the worlds leading experts on the disease as members. I am also an unofficial Historian of the Bellevue Stratford Hotel much to the dislike of the Hyatt Group
Plus I wear a leaners tag on Wikipedia My name is Denis

Would be nice if you was to say who you are, one is bound to make mistakes for a while when using Wikipedia, plus it does not help when people try to mess you up or the page up; In this case i deleted the redirect notice as i came up with two seperate pages on the Bellevue, so one had to go, the vandal who stuffing this page up needs to go, he has no idea of the history of the hotel --Noigel2000 12:28, 2 July 2006 (UTC)
- You did not delete the redirect. You blanked it, and that's a difference. I noticed that you wanted it deleted so I gave you a link to Wikipedia:Redirects for deletion. By the way, it's an absolutely legitimate redirect, see redirects from misspellings. --Zoz (t) 11:37, 3 July 2006 (UTC)

Regarding your editing of the Legionella and Legionellosis articles edit
- Noigel, thanks very much for your contributions here and also in the Legionella article. They are quite useful.
- However, I would like to point out that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia and comments like "It should be pointed out that it was never proved that the Bellevue Stratford Hotels Airconditioning was the cause of the Legionnaires' disease Outbreak, It is a shame that people never check their information when writng about LD and the Bellevue" is not the sort of comment to be in an encyclopedia. I don't know who wrote the original paragraph about the Bellevue, but it does include a verifiable source reference. I realize that you are new to Wikipedia ... as you get more familiar with Wikipedia, you will find that it includes and strongly enforces what is called a "Neutral point of view" (NPOV) policy. That means that Wikipedia does not tolerate comments or contributions that are not balanced and which do not respect all points of view on any subject.
- Accordingly, I am changing your comment to read: "It should be pointed out that there are some who do not believe that it was conclusively proven that the air conditioning conditioning was the cause of the outbreak." It would be very useful if you could furnish some source references in support of that point of view. If so, please do it on the Talk:Legionellosis page before altering the article itself. The disease is still being misdiagnosed as pneumonia in many cases, according to Dr. Victor L. Yu. Yu, one of the most zealous researchers of the disease nationwide, is the chief of the Oakland VA medical center's infectious disease section.
He is displeased that the public carries misperceptions about the 1976 outbreak. Some still believe the source of the bacterium to be the Bellevue-Stratford's air conditioning system when, in fact, the source has never been identified, Yu said. "It disturbs us because many of these people are physicians," Yu said. "This is one of the great modern myths."

Taken from the commemoration of CDC’s 50th anniversary, MMWR reprinted this historical article.
Reprinted is the initial report published August 6, 1976, on an outbreak of respiratory illness among persons who attended an American Legion convention in Philadelphia during the summer of 1976.
Following that report is the special issue of MMWR published January 18, 1977, which announced the identification of the bacterium that caused Legionnaires disease.

Please stop your unwarranted and incorrect deletions at Legionella edit
Noigel, you should not delete a major part of any article without first a thorough discussion on the Discussion page. Therefore, I have reverted your changes. I know that you are very new to Wikipedia, but the pattern of behavior and your derogatory remarks about Wikipedia (on the Legionellosis discussion page) are going to get you blocked from Wikipedia if you do not change your attitude.
When you unilaterally made your unwarranted deletions on this article, you also removed the References section, which further messed up the article. Legionella and Legionellosis are two separate articles and they both need to include the information on how to prevent and control cooling towers from becoming contaminated with the Legionella bacteria. - mbeychok 15:07, 7 July 2006 (UTC)

Noigel, please be more careful about your edits edit
Noigel, in your last edit of Legionellosis, when you changed a link (at the bottom of the section on Philadelphia) to a reference you closed the reference with ,/ref> which is incorrect syntax. It should have been </ref>. As a result of that incorrect syntax, all of the article beyond that point was deleted. You really must be more careful of what you do and you should use the "Preview" button to check the whole article before you submit an edit concerning References. Generally, we try to avoid people using their own websites to post information that links back to them, as a violation of our policy about no original research. See also reliable sources and what wikipedia is not. - What I see is you suggesting he go work in the middle east as a chemical engineer but he may end up being used for target practice. That is a personal attack, at a minimum and worse via insinuation to something more. I've restored the redirect to Legionellosis. We don't need two articles on the subject. Please refer to Wikipedia:Content forking.
