Troop Numbers

edit

If you go to Serbian Armed Forces, there you shall look into the Infobox template and go to active personnel or whatever that's called, also then, it says 40,000 and it shows a reference. 68.202.26.86 (talk) 01:59, 4 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

I want to put in a vivid description and clean the Kosovo War template of it's empty flag pins. 68.202.26.86 (talk) 04:28, 4 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

Individual Weapons page

edit

Machine guns are classified as crew served weapons, even if they can be man portable. It says that in the reading at the top. Can you take them off? They are already on the crew served weapons page.(America789 (talk) 20:33, 5 February 2012 (UTC))Reply

Joint light tactical vehicle

edit

Someone who fixed the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle page created the BAE Systems JLTV page. Recently, someone else created the Valanx page. The Valanx is the name of the jltv from BAE, so they are talking about the same vehicle. Is there any way you could merge the pages or something to make it more informed and accurate? Command & Conquer: Generals: Inappropriate?

edit

Er... I think it is high time you told me what exactly you mean by "inappropriate". Impolite? Pejorative? Out of context? Undue? Or something else? As for me, I do not think it is inappropriate. Our job here in Wikipedia is to have neutral point of view and therefore correct description is our duty.

Regard, Fleet Command (talk) 21:27, 25 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

True, those terms were used in the game, but what made you think the game is being neutral in its point of view? In fact, I think a video game's point of view is the poorest example of NPOV, even in regard to its own world.
Anyway, it seems our discussion is pointless, now that Izno deleted all the contents in the article's section. So, have it your own way. Fleet Command (talk) 22:12, 25 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Numbers of troops

edit

Whatever; this was just my first opinion. It is not a list of countries by numbers of cavalry units, which is what a troop is; at least "soldiers" gets at the individual nature of the list. No complaints if you find something else that's all-embracing, as long as it gets at the individual-level nature of the list. Nyttend (talk) 12:38, 26 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of equipment of the Russian Ground Forces, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Armored Car (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Source help

Hey, I noticed you're editing List of countries by number of military and paramilitary personnel. Do you happen to have the 2011 or 2012 edition of The Military Balance ? I plan on expanding a few articles on African countries, but military info on them is scarce. Right now I'm on Niger, so if you happen to have any recent edition of The Balance with some figures you can quote from there, it would be much appreciated. - ☣Tourbillon A ? 08:51, 7 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

List of equipment of Russian ground forces

edit

Hello, First I want to thank you for helping me edit this page. However,we still have some problems to solve.I was the one who deleted the small arms list and made several smaller lists, same as I did with the Armoured vehicles (I seperated it into tank section, infantry fighting vehicle section etc etc).We should solve the problems with the sniper rifles.I had never seen a page about Russian sniper rifles that adds SAKO TRG and Steyr sniper rifles.I can delete them if you say yes, because this way I would delete it,and then you would put it back :).And yes,I saw the source, but i think its the only available source for those rifles on the whole internet. Also,Rocket launchers section is not that clear (at least for me).I think that RPG-22,RPG-26,27 are also out of service. Also,I think we should delete the Coastal Defense Missile System section. Messed up infobox

edit

I found this page on the Obusier de 155 mm Modèle 50. Whoever made the infobox didn't do it right and I couldn't seem to fix it. Can you correct? (America789 (talk) 19:47, 30 November 2012 (UTC))Reply
