Welcome to Wikipedia, Nobullgracias! Thank you for your contributions. I am Malik Shabazz and I have been editing Wikipedia for some time, so if you have any questions feel free to leave me a message on my talk page. You can also check out Wikipedia:Questions or type {{helpme}} at the bottom of this page. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

Also, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name using four tildes (~~~~); that will automatically produce your username and the date. I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 03:21, 6 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

The use of primary sources

edit

I'm going to assume you're the IP editor. In case you haven't already done so, please read User talk:184.2.174.194#The use of primary sources.

Also, you might want to identify yourself at the Dispute resolution noticeboard so other editors make the connection. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 03:24, 6 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I noticed that your username (Nobullgracias) may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because Please consider requesting a new name as your name seems to use suggestive words in place of explicitly forbidden phrases.. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username, or you may simply create a new account to use for editing. Thank you. Hasteur (talk) 23:36, 6 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hasteur - my nickname is not based on any forbidden phrases... I am sorry but I am not sure what you are referring to.

I assume Hasteur has parsed your username as "No bullshit please". I might see the problem with that, but this username doesn't strike me as a violation of policy, though you might consider whether your username will cause others to engage with you differently than you might like.   Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button   or   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when they said it. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 03:17, 7 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Please do not remove information from articles, as you did to Marek Edelman. Wikipedia is not censored, and content is not removed on the sole grounds of perceived offensiveness. Please discuss this issue on the article's talk page to reach consensus rather than continuing to remove the disputed material. If the content in question involves images, you also have the option to configure Wikipedia to hide the images that you may find offensive. Thank you. You are continually removing reliable sourced content, because it does not conform to your own interpretation. This is disruptive; please desist. RolandR (talk) 11:27, 11 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

You are being dishonest here. You are well aware that there is an open discussion (both in the talk area and dispute resolution that you have hardly taken part in). There has been not only an unwillingness to discuss a compromise solution to this impasse here - but you are continually engaging in an edit war with me. I ask you to desist in doing this immediately please.
If you try that stunt again, I will report you for edit-warring. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 18:40, 11 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked temporarily from editing for edit warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Elockid (Talk) 20:07, 11 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Formal mediation has been requested

edit
The Mediation Committee has received a request for formal mediation of the dispute relating to "Marek Edelman". As an editor concerned in this dispute, you are invited to participate in the mediation. Mediation is a voluntary process which resolves a dispute over article content by facilitation, consensus-building, and compromise among the involved editors. After reviewing the request page, the formal mediation policy, and the guide to formal mediation, please indicate in the "party agreement" section whether you agree to participate. Because requests must be responded to by the Mediation Committee within seven days, please respond to the request by 23 April 2012.

Discussion relating to the mediation request is welcome at the case talk page. Thank you.

Request for mediation rejected

edit
The request for formal mediation concerning Marek Edelman, to which you were listed as a party, has been declined. To read an explanation by the Mediation Committee for the rejection of this request, see the mediation request page, which will be deleted by an administrator after a reasonable time.
