Influences (person infobox) edit

If you don't mind me asking, how long has the influence category been around for directors? Has it been there for years? thanks Markyg0089 (talk) 12:53, 17 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hi Markyg0089, I don't know how long the influence section has been there. In fact it's not only for directors, it's part of the 'Infobox person' template, so any kind of page about a person that has an 'infobox' (the box at the top right with biographical information) can have 'influences' and 'influenced' easily filled in. As with other areas of wikipedia, this information should be properly sourced. NoMatterTryAgain (talk) 19:19, 17 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Charlie Countryman has no narrator edit

Your reference doesn't help the situation, it's a lie. The movie doesn't have a narrator; have you even seen the movie? There isnt! It's not memory of the film that is the evidence, it's a fact. I undid your edit. Maybe if you see the movie you'd understand, so this situation won't worsen. - Theironminer (talk) 19:54, 21 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

The message on your recent edit is patronizing and rude to me, I hope you know that anyone knows what a voice-over is; face it, Charlie Countryman never has a voice-over! It's all a lie to make the movie sound more interesting for John Hurt fans. You are starting some pointless WP:3RR that shouldn't be started. I suggest you reply to this message and hit me with all the bullshit proof you can find on this lie. - Theironminer (talk) 02:11, 23 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

The Sundance version had a John Hurt narration. For the general release version the film was re-edited and the Hurt narration removed. The narration opening is also available on the BluRay. See:

I will restore the credit and add some explanation.
