A cup of tea for you! edit

Always a pleasure to help out. As someone who is graduating from high school... Sunday... it feels really fulfilling to know that students like me are benefitting in some fashion from the volunteer work I do, and that they're learning to become better writers because of it.

Also thank you for encouraging Wikipedia editors. The more talented people we have making Wiki a vast compendium of knowledge the better. [citation needed] hewhoamareismyself 16:44, 6 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

Two other strong drafts edit

Found a few more of your students who have WP:Notable topics that are quite viable for publication:

  • Draft:Brownberry (bakery): very close to publishable, they just need to write and place their footnotes properly and smooth out the language a little
  • Draft:Oconomowoc Area School District (OASD): good idea here (and full school districts are generally Notable), but the author seems to be getting tangled up in formatting, and also over-emphasizing technical minutiae of individual schools rather than focus on the history/impact of district administration. Might need some help from other students who've figured those issues out.

And as mentioned, Draft:Oconomowoc Lake Club is a good topic, the students just need to dig into the more big-picture aspects of its history and societal impact, which there's at least some coverage on at GoogleBooks.

Glad to see a few of your folks have made some strong progress! Out of curiosity, what grade level is this course? I assume somewhere in mid-late high school. MatthewVanitas (talk) 01:09, 9 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
