Request reason:

Hello: I have been blocked for using multiple accounts.

I have never used multiple accounts or 'sockpuppeted', ever, on Wikipedia.

I have only ever used Ninjabeard as my login, perhaps I have sometimes forgot to log-on but that is all.

I am not Aestheticinfo, this user however is known to me, she has admitted doing the 'sockpuppeting' and she is a real person. We are separate people, and I cannot tell her what to do in this regard.

I did in fact openly disclose that we shared a network on my account page when I found out what she had been doing. This can be checked.

I can see how this looks from outside but I assure you I did not put "Gary Tedman" on Wikipedia, and I only found out about it when I searched online and saw the deletion notices. I did not enter into the debate on deletion and I agree about the deletion reasons. Yes I did of course read the debate and become interested in it. On the discussion, I thought it was crude, and did not reach consensus. But the reasons were valid (I said this to the person who deleted it on his talk page).

I have also never canvassed Aestheticinfo, ever, to have items included on Wikipedia, in fact the direct opposite, knowing that this kind of thing can happen.

Some additional info (27 Aug 2014): I think someone has deleted something from this page or the user page - it was a notification (with the logo thing) that I shared a network IP address with Aestheticinfo and a short explanation, made maybe a couple of weeks ago. This does not show up in the history either (it appears to me, I may be doing something wrong of course, or maybe this is how it is when blocked...). Ninjabeard (talk) 11:47, 27 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

Accept reason:

I've discussed this with checkuser Risker, who had concluded "likely" at the SPI. I think your story is believable; it seems to me you understand the rules and have behaved correctly, and your colleague/family member/whatever has not. It might be a good idea if the two of you tried not to edit the same articles; that you both worked on Marxist aesthetics was the main source of the "likely" conclusion. --jpgordon::==( o ) 15:42, 29 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

Thanks, I'll do as you suggest. I'm still a fairly new to Wiki editing but I know the rules of blogging etc well enough and am quite experienced in IT. Ninjabeard (talk) 16:05, 30 August 2014 (UTC)Reply
