Speedy deletion nomination of Cdist

A tag has been placed on Cdist, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about ensuring their edits are verified by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.

Hello Dirk,

I'm sorry if I did something wrong, that's why I asked in the edit message if that's the correct way. I've read many of the guides you are pointing to, not sure which you are referring to directly.

I am aware that there is an affilation of the software towards me, but I've had the article proofread by people in #wikipedia and I believe the consensus was that it became pretty neutral.

Again, let me know if I am doing something wrong - I've removed the citations tag, because I've added yet-another source, which makes the article look better than most of the other CM tools, to which I am orientating myself while editing.

I am asking you to be careful. And I don't understand where you are unsure what I am referring to directly ..:

Those two, at the least, are things you constantly do ... I think that that is pretty clear.
You'll need consensus here on Wikipedia (#Wikipedia does not necessarily mean everything). Using other pages as comparison is also not good guidance (cf. WP:OTHERCRAPEXISTS), the article itself should be good enough (that it is better than others can still mean that the others are way not up to our standards). Please leave de-tagging of any form to others, uninvolved editors, and make sure that your sourcing is really up to standards (google groups, your own website, or other primary-source-type-references are certainly not the best of references, you really need a significant amount of independent, proper sources - things beyond mentions on other websites, proper reviews by significant journals would help). Having the tags there will attract independent editors, and they will then consider whether the tags can go. And please, be generally careful - you probably have the best intentions, but it very much looks like that you are trying to advertise/SEO your site, and that is not an impression you want to leave behind - don't revert others because you think it is fine - only revert when you are sure it is fine (and that is achieved through talk page discussion).
