Your last name edit

Hey, this may seem sort of strange, but I was just surprised to see your last name. My last name is Catalán, which is the Spanish version of the French Catalan, while Catalano is the Italian version - so, technically, we have the same last name. It's just interesting to see fellow Catalan's on Wikipedia. :P Ok, I'll leave you alone now! JonCatalán (talk) 14:23, 18 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

President-Elect Edit edit

presidential elect is an official position, he is not in that position yet. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bcadam (talkcontribs) 09:11, 5 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

This is in reference to my edit on Barack Obama. In common usage, as you can see in the linked President-elect article, the winner of the November election is referred to as 'President-elect.' You will be hard pressed to find any major news outlet that refers to him as anything other than the president-elect because him not becoming president-elect is about as likely as Wikipedia's servers being overtaken by a massive hurricane... in November. Obama would have to basically become completely incapacitated in the next few weeks for him to not be the official president-elect. So I feel comfortable with my edit. Unreferenced BLPs edit

Hello NickCatal! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. Please note that all biographies of living persons must be sourced. If you were to add reliable, secondary sources to this article, it would greatly help us with the current 940 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

  1. Anne Grauer - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

A FAR for Steve Colbert at the... edit

I have nominated Stephen Colbert at the 2006 White House Correspondents' Association Dinner for a featured article review here. Please join the discussion on whether this article meets featured article criteria. Articles are typically reviewed for two weeks. If substantial concerns are not addressed during the review period, the article will be moved to the Featured Article Removal Candidates list for a further period, where editors may declare "Keep" or "Remove" the article's featured status. The instructions for the review process are here. --Plotfeat (talk) 16:35, 12 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
