Executive branch edit
You requested at my talk page that I be your mentor and I'm happy to oblige=D. You stated that you plan to be editing the executive (government) article for your US History class. Please be aware that that article (executive (government)) is a general article for the concept of executive branch in government and that it should not be specific to the US.
Instead, I suggest that you create an article at Executive Branch of the United States which currently redirects to Federal government of the United States#Executive branch. Surprisingly, there doesn't actually seem to be a dedicated article for the US executive branch. To help you get started, you may copy relevant material from other articles such as Federal government of the United States#Executive branch, executive (government), Portal:Government of the United States/Executive branch, and relevant articles in Category:Executive branch of the United States government into the article you'll be making at Executive Branch of the United States.
Also, the redirect currently receives about 1500 page views per month so there will be quite a few real people will be viewing your work when you're done! If you have any questions, feel free to post them here or at my talk page. Smallman12q (talk) 00:39, 16 December 2010 (UTC)

When you believe the article is ready, you may move the article to Executive Branch of the United States (or let me know if you and I'll move it for you).
