Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), such as at Wikipedia:Teahouse, please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment, or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button   located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. Drm310 🍁 (talk) 05:29, 4 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hello Drm310, Thank you for the information. I will comply. I do apologize but I have never had such a problem on a site and this site is not user friendly for new users. I have wasted many hours of my time trying to stumple through making changes on a site of my relative that is misinformation, details tht would have been corrected long ago if it were made easy. I say again, for a novice this is not user friendly! I go back to the days of DOS and I am not computer illiterate. I make every effort to abide by the rules, when they are put out and understandable. May I ask what you comment in regard to, or was it just to inform of the rules? I do have a great deal of researched, verifiable information for this website regarding Nicholas Sheran that is correct instead of misinformation that stands at this time on what is supposed to be a reputable website. I have gone to help and found it was not that helpful. There was another part that stated that if I was signed in, my edits would be signed, but if I didn't, it would only be tracked by my IP address, so that is why, after no other instruction, I thought I was following the rules. I did receive a response from someone else, 'ColinFine. on my post, so how did he respond if it wasn't signed? I am doing the best I can with the tools Wikipedia is providing. The way this site is set I guess I need to take a course for certification to use it! --Nicholas Sheran relation (talk) 19:09, 4 June 2018 (UTC)Reply
