My cousin and I were visiting my grandfather's farm near Karasburg, he took the pictures and e-mailed them to me thereafter, giving me permission to do whatever I want with them, so I decided to add them into the article on the town.

That's Great! The problem is that you said that the only Wikipedia has permission to use this file. While it might seem reasonable to assume that such files can be freely used on Wikipedia, since explicit permission to use it was given, this is in fact not the case, because content on Wikipedia needs to be compatible with the GNU Free Documentation License, which allows anyone to use it. You have to relicense the images under a more permissive license. Goto the image pages and replace the warming messages with {{GFDL-self}} to license it under the GFDL, or {{cc-by-sa-2.5}} to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, or use {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain. Any of those options are fine; each license is a little different in terms of what it allows other to do with it. Jon513 (talk) 19:25, 16 April 2008 (UTC)

Sorry, I'm totally new at this, so I am esentially clueless when it comes to copywrite stuff so i'm sorry if I wasted your time,but at least I learnt something as well.
