Dab: it is short for disambiguation. Basically when more than one topic shares the same name, we need a way to seperate the articles. For instance Bob Johnson can refer to many different people of the same name. In general, we try to avoid having links going to pages that are only a list of possible options for the reader, and instead try to point the link to the actual article it should go to.
