NewFoundSpecFic edit

Hi, I see you added some sources to the article, but I don't think they qualify as reliable. One is a blog, and the other appears to be a college newsletter which mentions that a student has had a story published. That's not about the publication, it's about the author, so I don't think it's sufficient. Are there other reliable sources that have covered the publication? Any reviews in newspapers, or something of that sort? --AndrewHowse (talk) 19:48, 25 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Your recent edits edit

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 20:22, 25 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Yourbasis101 edit

Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages, such as Yourbasis101, to Wikipedia. Doing so is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Are you trying to file an SPI notice? edit

If so - please do so at WP:SPI. Let me know if you need help.  7  00:33, 26 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

I am indeed. I managed to create the following page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Suspected_sock_puppets/Yourbasis101#Yourbasis101 yet not sure on where to go from here. --Newfiechick88 (talk) 00:53, 26 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
Unfortunately that is on the old "suspected" sock page. Please click here and fill in the box by replacing the word "SOCKMASTER" with the suspected sock-puppeteer's name (either with or without checkuser) and follow the prompts there.  7  01:08, 26 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
I have done that, yet now fail to be able to add the article here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:SSP#Open_cases as directed. --Newfiechick88 (talk) 01:26, 26 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
Again, that's the wrong page - nothing with "suspected" in the title works any more. You created it at Wikipedia:Suspected_sock_puppets - the OLD location - Please click here and fill in the box by replacing the word "SOCKMASTER" with the suspected sock-puppeteer's name (either with or without checkuser) and follow the prompts there. Thanks.  7  01:38, 26 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

November 2009 edit

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on NewFoundSpecFic. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Please stop the disruption, otherwise you may be blocked from editing. Cirt (talk) 16:54, 26 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
