upload pic and stuff edit
how do u upload pics and add a background story over ur stelf like the famout kppl do like full name,birthday and etc. stuff i want to do dat andyone kow how.
- I'm not sure what you are asking. The above links I gave you tell you how to write articles. But also, please remember that wikipedia is only an encyclopedia, not a free webhost or social networking site. Images are a bit confused to upload sometimes, but, they are only for use within articles anyway, so once you have something written that needs a picture, someone can point you to the specific uploading instructions.
content edit
hoe do i get a content on my page so i can start heading stuff
- You cannot control the overall site design easily. Again, I recommend you work more on content first. Are you talking about the table of contents? It's created automatically if there is sufficient content and sections. You don't need it...you can edit the whole page and start writing. hod do i just start wrting. wen i first started it i wrote why i want this and y so wat i just edit it and just write and when i want to start a new section type ==Section== ===Subsection=== ====Sub-subsection==== and so forth
also how come when i look my self neshia capblara i cant find my wiki wat is up with dat also
- You clearly already know how to click the [Edit] tab on your user-page to edit the content there--I can see you have already done it before. Yes, when you want a new section, you just type ==Section==. Again remember that wikipedia is not a free webhost, so it's not a good place to publicize yourself. ok thank u i think i understand ok look on my oage is dat wat u mean by dat but still if u have a wiki shouldnt people be able tro look u up and find ur wiki and read wat u have to say write how come i can find mines i knoe it is not a social network i ws just wonder cause if i look up justin bieber his comes up but wen i look up neshia capblara it doesnt so wat mines doesnt comes up or i would have to publishe it if i di how and j\please look at my page to see if i am doing to section thing right and please dis time answer all my queation and say it more clearly for me to understand i aint a master at this things please and thank u --Neshia Capblara 18:56, 1 February 2011 (UTC)
- No, wikipedia is designed as an encyclopedia of notable topics, not a general-purpose website. People like justin bieber meet the standard for being notable indivuduals, so an article can be written about them and be found easily. Interestingly, the article is not written by him (neither he nor his agents have any say over its content). DMacks (talk) 12:41, 2 February 2011 (UTC)
