Welcome to Wikipedia! Sorry, but I reverted your addition of a source in the history section of the above named article. Two things. First, thanks for trying to improve the verifiability of the article, but not all sources are created equally. After reading WP:RS, I think you're going to agree with me that the local tourism agency is not a reliable source. Sources serve two purposes in settlement articles (articles on communities). First, they fulfill pillar policy WP:V Second, since encyclopedias are tertiary, they also serve as a gauge for us to use to weigh the encyclopedic significance of a particular fact. So, to put what I've written here into the perspective of your edit: The source you provided isn't reliable enough for the historic and important fact that at one time there was a MiLB baseball team here, and although it would suffice to verify that there is a local group that stages old time-y baseball games and plays under the same name as the historic team, it doesn't show in any way that is significant enough to include in the article.
