'Aja'ib al-makhluqat wa-ghara'ib al-mawjudat edit

As I've indicated at the AfD for this article, the point about Wikipedia is that it's an encyclopedia. You (and I, presumably) are capable of writing about things Middle Eastern at a much higher level than is required for a general encyclopedia, but we need to remember that the project here is different to writing for specialists. The wikification I was doing simply involved splitting up a long paragraph and adding some links to other articles - none of which intentionally changed the meaning of the text you'd written. It had to be done at some point, and I happened to do it then. If there were issues with it, you're welcome to take them up on my Talk page or on that of the article in question.

Any and all content anyone adds to Wikipedia is able to be edited by everyone else (which is what the "Wiki" part means), so if I didn't start that work, someone else would have. BigHaz - Schreit mich an 01:42, 26 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

License tagging for Image:Acevdet2.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Acevdet2.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:
