Speedy deletion nomination of MANET intrusion detection edit

A tag has been placed on MANET intrusion detection requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 03:18, 10 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

April 2010 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. One or more of the external links you added in this edit to the page Solid modeling do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. You may wish to read the introduction to editing. Thank you. You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for continuing to add spam links. Persistent spammers will have their websites blacklisted from Wikipedia and potentially penalized by search engines. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. -- Cirt (talk) 03:32, 8 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Please tell us what other contributions you intend to make.  Sandstein  05:46, 9 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

And please also explain why when the article related to the links was deleted a month ago, that you did not understand the spamminess back then, and instead you suddenly understand once blocked? (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 09:16, 9 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
See also m:User:COIBot/XWiki/eprints.utm.my for a list of 88 additions of this link by this user. I think some of the links are useful, but only when papers are actually available. Many papers are only available on request, and that doesn't really add much to a wikipedia article. EdBever (talk) 13:36, 9 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
