Invitation from Wikipedia Asian Month 2016 edit

Thanks for partipating Wikipedia Asian Month last year, and I hope you enjoy it. Last year, more than 7,000 articles contribute to Wikipedia in 43 languages in Wikipedia Asian Month, making us one of the largest event on Wikipedia. We will organize this event again in upcoming November, and would like to invite you join us again.

This year, we are lowering down the standards that you only need to create 4 (Four) articles to receive a postcard (new design), and articles only need to be more than 3,000 bytes and 300 words. We are also improving our postcard sending process, e.g. making the postcards right now, and collecting the address after the event ends without waiting other languges.

Wikipedians who create the most articles on each Wikipedia will be honored as "Wikipedia Asian Ambassadors". We will send you both digital copy, and a paper copy of the Ambassador certificate.

Thank you for considering! --AddisWang (talk)

April 2017 edit

Hello, I'm Cyphoidbomb. I wanted to let you know that one or more external links you added to Baahubali 2: The Conclusion have been removed because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Diff: [1] This edit has the look of spam to me. There's no clear reason why you're adding a random blog as a reference at Wikipedia. We don't care what blogs think, as anyone can start a random blog or website and say whatever they want. We only care what reliable published sources with established reputations for fact-checking and accuracy have to say about anything. Please see WP:UGC. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 02:45, 29 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

Please stop adding inappropriate references to Wikipedia, as you did to Baahubali 2: The Conclusion. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Diffs: [2] [3][4]

As previously noted, we don't care what blogs like southcinemanews.com think. Only mainstream reliable sources are suitable for inclusion. Further, the plot of a released film doesn't require references, as the film itself is a proper source of uncontroversial content like plot and cast. And, we don't need a reference to support the "Theatrical release poster" caption. That's not a controversial fact. Very weird decision to slap a reference on that, and it just looks like you're trying to drive traffic to that blog. If you do this again, you will probably wind up blocked, and that site will be scrutinized by the folks at Wikipedia's spam blacklist. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 14:18, 29 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Vallatha Pahayan edit

The article Vallatha Pahayan has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:NFILM and WP:GNG. Nothing notable on a WP:BEFORE Kolma8 (talk) 18:28, 7 January 2021 (UTC)

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
