Speedy deletion nomination of Crossroad 77 edit

A tag has been placed on Crossroad 77, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you.   -- Lear's Fool 12:35, 20 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

July 2010 edit

Please do not add or change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did to Disc jockey. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. --moreno oso (talk) 11:22, 21 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Salt&Light TV edit

A tag has been placed on Salt&Light TV requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for web content.

Josh Hernandez edit

Thanks for your note with respect to Josh Hernandez (disc jockey); I'm afraid I disagree with your assertion that Mr. Hernandez is sufficiently notable to be the subject of a Wikipedia article and have deleted the article in question; I've also made it impossible for it to be recreated under that title. I assume you are aware that a previous version of this article, titled Josh Hernandez, was the subject of an articles for deletion process, which you will find at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Josh Fernandez. Since the article failed, recreated versions of the same material without truly significant improvement in the way of reliable sources -- and there were none present in the recreation -- are subject to immediate deletion. If you feel you can provide a significant number of reliable sources to demonstrate Mr. Hernandez's notability, which is highly unlikely in the case of a 16-year-old disc jockey, feel free to take your case to deletion review. You may want to read this article to understand a bit more about why people are disagreeing with you. Best of luck with your future contributions. Speedy deletion nomination of File:ManilaHostageAttack.jpg edit

A tag has been placed on File:ManilaHostageAttack.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.
