X (Ed Sheeran album) edit

Recently you have made multiple edits to the 'Tracklisting' section that have used unverifiable material, used non standard formatting in a table and removed references that verified information you were adding. While I do not refute your claim that you are his publishers, simply stating so and providing no evidence for your evidence goes against Wikipedia guidelines. I would politely request that you revert your previous edit (thereby fixing the formatting error and restoring the deleted references) until such a time when you can find a third party source to support your material. File source problem with File:Johnny McDaid.jpg edit

File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Johnny McDaid.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 19:07, 22 October 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. dave pape (talk) 19:07, 22 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

The image still needs a copyright tag, and evidence that the copyright holder is releasing the photo under a free license. I did not notice any license statements on the given source pages. Be aware that photos such as this must be available under a free license, such as CC-BY-SA. --dave pape (talk) 02:27, 25 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

August 2011 edit

Please do not add or change content without verifying it by citing reliable sources. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Acroterion (talk) 20:40, 11 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

The label isn't a satisfactory source either, unfortunately: please read Wikipedia's policies on original research, reliable sources and verifiability. This is because Wikipedia is a tertiary source that uses secondary sources for reference. The label and the subject are primary sources; it would be better to remove unreferenced material that the label or subject believes is wrong than to add material directly from the subject or label. Also, if you are associated with the subject or label, please read WP:COI. While we want to have the most accurate possible information in the article, it must be verifiable by reference to published sources. Acroterion (talk) 20:57, 11 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Re: Ian Brown edit

Re your message: The problem is one of verifiable, reliable third-party sources. Ian's Facebook/MySpace page is not a third-party source. Third party sources would be things like newspapers, magazines, etc. Since you appear to be editing upon his behalf, I suggest that you read Wikipedia's Article Subject's FAQ which will answer many of your questions. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 20:40, 11 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Your recent edits edit

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 20:45, 11 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Blocked edit

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 48 hours for edit warring, as you did at Ian Brown. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Michig (talk) 20:56, 11 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

July 2012 edit

Please do not add or change content without verifying it by citing reliable sources, as you did to Jim Morrison. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. noq (talk) 14:17, 5 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Jim Morrison. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. noq (talk) 17:08, 5 July 2012 (UTC)Reply
