Your sandbox
editHello,
I've moved your sandbox back to userspace because the title is inappropriate for a main (article) space page. You can continue to work on it there, and if this is a draft article intended to be moved to mainspace, make sure you follow the guidance at WP:Article titles and WP:Content fork in determining where this should go. Feel free to ask me or your course instructor if you have any questions. ComplexRational (talk) 02:25, 14 April 2020 (UTC)

Minor Changes that Will Help Combat Global Warming
editI have notes:
- This is redundant to the article on global warming and more specifically, the one on climate change mitigation. Rather than make a new article, you should be looking to see if there is anything in the main article that is missing or needs to be updated.
- This is more of a recommended list of things that can be done as opposed to a neutral Wikipedia article. Keep in mind that Wikipedia is only meant to summarize what authorities in existing sources have stated, but even then it's important to make sure that this doesn't come across as us recommending a specific course of action or like a "how to" guide.
- The topic of global warming is one that's held under sanctions, which means that any articles that fall into this topic area will be more closely watched and edited than others. This means that content needs to be written as neutrally as possible and have the strongest possible sourcing, as well as make sure that it follows guidelines. As such, if you do want to edit on the main article I heavily recommend that you discuss any potential changes on the article talk page and gain consensus before adding anything live.
- The term 'minor' can be seen as subjective when it comes to changes. For example, limiting the use of private vehicles could be seen as a fairly major change for some, especially if conducted as part of a national campaign.
Now when it comes to things that authorities recommend to lessen global warming, keep in mind that there's already an article on this topic so there's no need to make a new article. My recommendation would be to look at the mitigation article and perhaps update one of the specific sections, such as the activism section. For that section you could update this with more information about climate change activism and current actions. Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 14:48, 14 April 2020 (UTC)
