This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Nathalie Dupree, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.nathaliedupree.com/bio.htm. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. I'm assuming for the moment that you are, in fact, Nathalie (we have no way of knowing), so I thought I'd leave a note. Wikipedia can't accept direct cut-and-paste from other websites unless those websites' contents are licensed under the GFDL that governs Wikipedia. You are fee to rewrite the article, or to post a GFDL notice on your website. I'm frankly surprised that we don't already have an article about you, but apparently not. The article you posted may be deleted as a copyright violation, per Wikipedia policy, but feel free to try again with a differently composed article. Yes, now deleted, but a rewrite will be fine. Feel free to ask questions if you need help. As a former Atlanta resident, your name stood out for me on the new articles list. Acroterion (talk) 19:44, 2 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hello. I have the copyright for Nathalie Dupree. Is that all I need to say?Nathalie Dupree (talk) 19:44, 2 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Sorry, but no, since we don't know who you are or whether you actually hold the copyright. The way to go is to follow the instructions in the section above. TerriersFan (talk) 19:59, 2 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
The reason for all this is that Wikipedia's GFDL copyright grants a very broad release of all rights to the content to anyone, for any purpose whatsoever, provided only that the source is appropriately credited. In effect, the contributor loses control of the content once it's posted, so content originally created under more usual copyrights can't be used without a great deal of back-and-forth. It's usually easiest to write a fresh article than to use material published elsewhere. The email route noted above works as well, but it takes a little longer. I've formatted the text and added wikilinks. I'll move the article over into articlespace, if you don't mind: it's just on your userpage right now. Acroterion (talk) 19:48, 8 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
