editHi, User:Nataliedeerr. Good to see from your user page that you're interested in juvenile justice issues. Let's think carefully about where you can make the best contribution given how long some of these articles are already. At the same time, many of these articles lack a global perspective.
- Good edit on emerging adulthood article. Please fix the capitalization issue by coding to have the article link but with a different, punctuation sensitive name. adolescence, not Adolescence.
Thoughts on Natalie's ideas
editHi User:Nataliedeerr! I am so excited to see you are looking into juvenile justice issues and youth rights. I think a very interesting topic could be the relationship between youth rights and child abuse. I am not sure if a lot of global research has been done on this relationship, but I do know from my experiences it is a very fascinating and important relationship to look at when considering how policy surrounding youth rights affects how the system handles child abuse. I greatly look forward to reading more about your topics. Collaboration0826 (talk) 00:01, 18 September 2015 (UTC)

editHello User:Nataliedeerr
I think your passion for juvenile rights is very cool. I think the term of "violating human rights" is the key attention getter. Yes, we do need to address these violations and especially when it comes to youth. So if you end up picking that path to follow with your research I'll be interested in seeing what you find! Good luck with all of the research. Topics like youth rights and child abuse won't be easy, but I think you could add a lot to those pages.
Your proposal
editHi, Nataliedeerr- I'm impressed with the care and precision of your proposal. Keep looking for articles that cover similar topics.
What do you think your next step is? How will you outline your revisions after finalizing your sources?
Nice work - keep going. I look forward to the bibliography and your discussion of it at the end of the week. Onward, Prof.Vandegrift (talk) 04:10, 5 October 2015 (UTC)
Source feedback from Dr. V
editHi, Nataliedeerr- You have located scholarly sources around two themes: global examples, and how the United States model has been exported. If your revisions can create a lead paragraph that details the primary models used, that will go a long way towards globalizing the article. Also, it would be helpful to see what scholars say about the Global South. I would like to see you create an outline of planned revisions (you have a great start in your proposal) and then to begin extracting facts from the articles you cite.
Your sources need a doi or isbn for each one, and a correct format that follows WP conventions.
After you do this outline, you will have a sense of what additional material is missing to search for in further sources. Prof.Vandegrift (talk) 16:59, 21 October 2015 (UTC)
A kitten for you!
