Hi Artchivist1, wondering would you be willing to provide back end support for my students after Seazzy delivers her in-class workshop? I've asked Seazzy as well, would be a great reassurance for me. Narrowrooms (talk) 07.20, 31 January 2017 (UTC)

Advice from a fellow educator edit

Hi. I found you through Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The Barrier between Men and Feminism, and I also saw Draft:Media and LGBTQ Youth of Colour. It seems to me you are having your students create Wikipedia articles - a commendable idea! I couldn't find out quickly if you have a Wiki course page listing other articles, so I couldn't see if this is a more widespread problem (if you don't have such a page, check out how to create one at Wikipedia:Education Program, if you do, it is best practice to link it on your userpage and on the talk page of each of your students project), but it seems to me your students have trouble creating ENCYCLOPEDIC articles, instead they seem to be writing essays. It is understandable - that's what they have been taught before - but it is something they need to address quickly, or their contributions will be deleted/rejected. I gave some suggeststions at the AfD discussion, EduProgram has a ton of materials (brochures, etc.), and there are also articles such as this one written by me with some suggestions for how to design a course using Wikipedia resources. Don't hesitate to ask me if you have any questions, I totally endorse the belief that educators should engage with Wikipedia - but like everything, it takes a while and few tries to get it right. If this is your first time here, don't give up - next time will be better, just need to work out some kinks. (I've been here for almost 10 years). Cheers, --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 04:30, 13 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

Your draft article, Draft:Christina Battle edit

Hello, Narrowrooms. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Christina Battle".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. » Shadowowl | talk 16:41, 5 June 2018 (UTC)Reply
