Block?
NapoliRoma (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
An IP block should not affect logged-in users, should it?
Accept reason:
The blocking admin has altered the block; it should no longer impact your ability to edit. Please re-post this unblock request if you're still having problems. Kuru (talk) 00:42, 8 May 2014 (UTC)
I've been unable to edit today, getting the message
- Editing from 148.87.19.206 has been blocked (disabled) by Kww for the following reason(s):
- Vandalism
I'm unclear on why this should be happening, as first off, this would appear to be the gateway to the Very Large Corporation I work from, so, kind of a scorched-earth thing, I'd think; and second: I'm logged in.
Can anyone help explain what's going on here?--NapoliRoma (talk) 23:30, May 7, 2014 (UTC)
I respectfully disagree
I fail to see how "acquisition of Sun Microsystems by Oracle Corporation" isn't an adaptation of the article title into a sentence form. It should be bolded. --Kevin W. - Talk 03:11, 8 May 2014 (UTC)
- Hi, Kevin. My apologies; I messed up the link to WP:BOLDTITLE, which covers this, in my edit summary.
- Generally speaking, only a literal title should be bolded, not a paraphrase of the title. If the title is paraphrased in the lead sentence, as is done here (and appropriately so), it should not be bolded. Regards, NapoliRoma (talk) 04:50, 8 May 2014 (UTC)
National Board of Ophthalmology listed at Redirects for discussion
An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect National Board of Ophthalmology. Since you had some involvement with the National Board of Ophthalmology redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you have not already done so. - Cwobeel (talk) 21:36, 27 December 2014 (UTC)

Cordialement, --CRH (talk) 13:45, 7 June 2015 (UTC)
'falsely'
Just to reassure you that the only reason for my removing 'falsely' from the B Obama 'birther' page, was that I thought conspiracy theories were necessarily false. Your judgement call though. Pincrete (talk) 16:40, 23 May 2016 (UTC)
- No prob -- I'm mainly following general consensus over the years by restoring it.
- But bear in mind that you may be premature in switching to the past tense... "any day now!" -- Regards, NapoliRoma (talk) 16:46, 23 May 2016 (UTC)
Proposed deletion of Integrated standby instrument system
The article Integrated standby instrument system has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Not much content
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Timothy Robinson12345 (talk) 12:54, 3 November 2016 (UTC)

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Integrated standby instrument system requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, a question that should have been asked at the help or reference desks, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here.
