Dmitry Green moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Dmitry Green, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.   Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Draft:Dmitry Green a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Dmitry Green. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Speedy deletion nomination of Irina Barzhak

Hello Namerst,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Irina Barzhak for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly indicate why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

I am concerned about several aspects of your editing history, including, but not restricted to, the remarkably high proportion of your editing which has been deleted, the unmistakably promotional tone of much of your editing, and the fact that on occasion you have posted text unmistakably written by or on behalf of the business it was about. (That could mean either that you posted it to Wikipedia on their behalf or that you copied text from somewhere else and posted it to Wikipedia.) Please help me to sort out what the causes of these problems are by telling me the following.

  1. Are you paid to edit Wikipedia? If so, by whom?
  2. Have you ever made edits because one or more other people have asked you or told you to do so?
  3. Have you ever posted writing to Wikipedia which you have copied from somewhere else? If so, where have you copied it from? JBW (talk) 20:26, 3 October 2020 (UTC)Reply
  • Hello.
  1. No, I don't get paid to write articles.
  2. No, nobody asks me to create articles.
  3. No, I write all the texts myself.

Sorry, I will be working on the presentation style of the articles. Namerst (talk) 09:26, 4 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

Hello. The second user was used by my relative, with whom I live together. I don’t write articles for money! I have no conflict of interest with these people and companies. You've moved a lot of my articles to drafts, but they are significant. You also mentioned that the articles were written for money, but this is not true! Also why were my articles moved to draft? For example, the article aviasales.ru. I translated it from the Russian Wikipedia, where it had the status of a good article. Why do you see ads there? Please pay attention @Rosguill: to this issue. Also, all my articles were meaningful and were not advertising. I am ready to discuss this. Previously, my articles were deleted because they were not significant. I didn't know the rules very well then. Now I only write meaningful articles. I have different interests, I write about media personalities, singers, artists, I write about companies that are very famous. I am very sorry that I am unreasonably blocked and my articles are transferred to draft. And I don't have any relationship with these people, I don't get any money, I contribute to Wikipedia for free!Namerst (talk) 06:51, 12 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

I don't know for certain if you are paid or not, but I don't think that you chose the topics that you wrote about by chance. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 19:44, 19 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

@Rosguill: I also really want to invite you. Please rate my input. There are all significant articles. Please give an answer! They are not advertising and are written without conflicts of interest. Namerst (talk) 17:56, 18 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
@Orangemike: Please give feedback. Check out my articles, I'm ready for a dialogue. Namerst (talk) 16:45, 19 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
@Yamla: Please pay attention to my articles. almost all of them were translated from the Russian Wikipedia. For example, the article Aviasales in Russian Wikipedia has existed since 2011. Positive Technologies has been around since 2009. These are very well-known companies. The style of presentation of the articles was a neutral, literal translation from the Russian Wikipedia. Please pay someone's attention to my requests! Namerst (talk) 16:57, 19 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

@331dot: You refused to unlock me. But you didn't even explain to me why I was blocked. I pointed out to you that my articles are not promotional. They are all significant, but they were still moved to draft and templates were installed. Why there is no proof from you. Why am I blocked? I am very offended that my request was not considered on the merits. I was denied without clear consideration. I ask other administrators to consider my request. I am ready to answer all questions.Namerst (talk) 20:06, 19 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

I'm not sure what makes you think I did not consider it on the merits, that's exactly what I did. I don't need to tell you why you are blocked as MER-C did that already. Why weren't my articles reviewed? I was accused of advertising, but not a single advertising article was dropped. I was accused of creating insignificant articles, but I was not shown which articles were insignificant. Why doesn't anyone want to watch my draft? And how can I prove that I have no conflict of interest? Namerst (talk) 03:59, 20 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
Advertising or promotion is not just selling something or soliciting customers, at least on Wikipedia. All the subjects you say are your interests are all subjects that benefit from marketing or SEO or other promotional efforts. I don't speak for the next reviewer and any decision on this is up to them, but it might help if you said what other areas you want to edit in that aren't people or companies. If you have no conflict of interest, that should be easy for you to do. 331dot (talk) 08:51, 20 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
@331dot: Yes, I plan to write articles about boxers. I will make translations from Russian Wikipedia. These will be boxers who have already died and who still perform in professional sports. I also plan to improve the articles about Russian cities, as many of them are very small. I will also want to write about significant companies such as Aviasales. I translated it from the Russian Wikipedia, it has the status of a good article there. I am ready to answer all subsequent questions. I want to say again that I have nothing to do with these companies and people. They are not advertising and they are meaningful. Please pay attention to them. For example, an article about Viktor Orlovsky, I wrote a small stub about his biography. Forbes writes about him, considers his success in the work of Sberbank, and subsequently success in startups. For example, an article about Oleg Roy, who is one of the most famous living writers in Russia. There are no advertisements and I am not affiliated with these persons in any way. Please pay attention to this! Namerst (talk) 09:14, 20 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
If necessary, I can opt out of writing articles about people and companies. I will write on completely different topics. But I don't understand why, if a person or company is significant, why can't I write about them? Namerst (talk) 09:55, 20 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
If you want to demonstrate that you don't have a conflict of interest, that's how to do it. 331dot (talk) 10:16, 20 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

They are all significant and not advertising. If you don't mind, help move them to the main space. And if they are not significant in your opinion, put them up for deletion, I am also ready to discuss them. Thank you very much! Namerst (talk) 11:18, 20 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
@DGG: Hello. Please pay attention to my articles that have been moved to draft. For example, the article Draft:Aviasales.ru, Draft:Victor Orlovski. Please take a look at them, they are good and informative articles written in a neutral style and have significance. Thank you very much! Namerst (talk) 18:54, 21 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
Glad to take a look. I marked them both as advertising. They may not qualify for G11 as drafts, but they would in mainspace. I will not unblock, because if you think these are NPOV articles, you shouldn't be editing. DGG ( talk ) 22:09, 21 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
