Austrians

Hi, thanks for your interest and contributions to the Austrians article. Although I think I understand where you're coming from, it may prove to be a difficult task to explain the demographic, ethnic, national, cultural and historical particularities of Austria to outsiders. English Wikipedia is very US-centric and it can be difficult for these people to grasp some of the European subtleties. I created this article earlier this year, since I couldn't believe that the English-speaking Wikipedia community would be content with Austrians being given about as much as a footnote in the Germans article. We've come a long way, although it' been difficult to explain it to these people. Sometimes I think that the kids here must have watched way too many WWII movies when they were little. Sigh.
