On AFD closure edit

Please note that when a AFD is closed, the decision has been made, and you are not supposed to add additional content to the discussion. That close was made by an admin who judged what the consensus was and made that decision. If you think that was wrong, you can ask the closer (User:RoySmith in this case) to reopen. Alternatively, you can ask for Wikipedia:Deletion review - but be aware: Deletion review is not meant to reopen the arguments from AFD, but to state that there was something wrong in the closer's argument that needs to be reviewed. Based on the close, I would strongly urge you to talk to RoySmith first. --Masem (t) 19:17, 5 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for pinging me. I assume we're talking about WP:Articles for deletion/List of free Epic Games Store games. I have no problem with bringing this to WP:DRV, but honestly, I think that's just going to be a waste of time. This was an open-and-shut conclusion. The two people arguing to keep were both citing WP:OTHER, which doesn't make any sense; that's an explanation of why the existence of other pages is not an argument to keep this one. Yet, the two users seem to be arguing exactly the opposite; because other, similar, pages exist, we should keep this one. Sorry, that's backwards. -- RoySmith (talk) 00:28, 6 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

List of free Epic Games Store games moved to draftspace edit

Thanks for your contributions to List of free Epic Games Store games. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because Undeletion requested at Wikipedia:Deletion review/Log/2024 January 24, with a plausible list of sources presented. Restoring and moving to draft as the original deleting admin.. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. RoySmith (talk) 18:20, 24 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
