Welcome! edit

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions; however, please remember the essential rule of respecting copyrights. Edits to Wikipedia, such as your edit to the page Marehan, may not contain material from copyrighted sources unless that text is available under a suitable free license. It is almost never okay to copy extensive text out of a book or website and paste it into a Wikipedia article with little or no alteration, though you can clearly and briefly quote copyrighted text in the right circumstances. Content that does not comply with this legal rule must be removed. For more information on this, see:

If you still have questions, there is the Teahouse, or you can click here to ask a question on your talk page and someone will be along to answer it shortly. As you get started, you may find the pages below to be helpful.

January 2024 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you. Magherbin (talk) 20:31, 2 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

This has been mentioned in the book of Di Ceasar Nrezzani where he stated the Marehan fought the hardest on that day while the rest of the Somalis had ran away and I have no cited this
You have also made a mistake, where you have stated that the Harari's were a major a part of the army, I'm sorry but there is not a single first hand source which states this, furthermore there was no such thing as a "Harari" back then, they were a confederation group of Oromos, Somalis and Habesha traders once the majority Somali ethnic group had migrated, as early as the 1800's the city was described as Barbaria due to the majority of the people being of Somali stock, only until Emir Abdullahi's reign did the masses migrate and due to the growing Oromo incursion.
The group you might be referring to are the Harrala, or the Harla, a proto Somali group who spoke a Cushitic language as verified by Cerrulli, their language was closest to that of the Somalis and they are now extinct, with none having their lineages, except the few who joined the Afar that claim the Darood Jabarti lineage.
I hope you take this into consideration, and stop your further revisions. MyrhaanWarrior (talk) 21:40, 2 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
The reference you added doesnt state this. Magherbin (talk) 22:04, 2 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Please stop. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's no original research policy by adding your personal analysis or synthesis into articles, you may be blocked from editing. Magherbin (talk) 22:04, 2 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Discuss all your proposed changes on the talk page of the article. Magherbin (talk) 22:16, 2 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Stop edit

Stop adding random bullshit to the Ethiopian Adal war page Matan ibn Uthman (talk) 19:39, 4 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

You fucking Ethiopian cunt we know you bitches and your lies and your evil
If you believe in Allah and his prophet stop your lies and your trouble making! I have proven to you there are no Hararis at the time!
The earlier Futah shows this clearly and I have shown you the book, your only option after I have proven you wrong is to report me, but I will make I'm not the only one fighting to bring the truth
I know your plan is to only put out false narratives
If you fear Allah and believe in his last day stop altering information! How did Hararis exist when they came about in the late 1800's?!?!?!?! The Oromos of west and east Hararghe are majority Somalis who have been absorbed, how was the whole zone Somalis but somehow an ethio semitic mixed people lived there centuries before? Harralas aren't even Semitic, according to Cerrulli they speak a Cushitic Somali adjacent language
If you fear Allah and believe in his last days stop altering these pages, for we both know what you are spreading is lies, what benefit does it give when you are getting sins. The fact you can't even refute me or bring any points to prove me wrong just shows I am correct. MyrhaanWarrior (talk) 19:51, 4 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Instead, consider participating in a peaceful conversation on the article's talk page to exchange ideas and reasons for your beliefs. If another user consistently provides evidence and refutes your points, respond with counter-evidence or points. If you lack supporting evidence, consider discontinuing the edit war. Avoid making false reports. Thank you for contributing positively to Wikipedia. MyrhaanWarrior (talk) 22:48, 4 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Please do not attack other editors. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. Magherbin (talk) 22:15, 4 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

January 2024 edit

You have been blocked from editing from certain pages (Adal Sultanate) for a period of 24 hours for edit warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  BusterD (talk) 00:41, 29 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Marehan Clan and many deferent flags edit

The change you made in the Marehan article don't add flags except the Somali flag. The Marehan are pure nationalists and they don't want to be mentioned in the name of their clan in other flags except the Somali flag. Banjja (talk) 20:35, 27 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
