May 2021 edit

  Hello, I'm Possibly. I noticed that you recently removed content from the Conflict of Interest Noticeboard . Don't do that again. Thanks. --- Possibly (talk) 06:37, 24 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

@Bonadea: Who told you that I have copied them from somewhere. Can you prove it? I had used sources from Times of India, and now they are saying the news published in it are fake. [1] Scroll to the bottom and you will find out. And you are asking to use sources from publications. But Times of India is also a publication. Now what to do. Please look into the matter. Thanks Mynameisparitoshmandal (talk) 13:19, 24 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
Nobody told me. The text in the "Notes" section of the table is exactly identical to text found elsewhere on Wikipedia or on other websites, for instance here and here. Apart from being copyright violations, those text snippets are inappropriate because they are promotionally written. What you need to do, since you have a paid conflict of interest, is avoid editing the article at all (instead use edit requests as described below, in the section "Managing a conflict of interest"); in particular you should not edit war, that is, revert back to your preferred version when multiple editors have reverted your edits. Thank you. --bonadea contributions talk 14:10, 24 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

Managing a conflict of interest edit

  Hello, Mynameisparitoshmandal. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. MarioGom (talk) 07:30, 24 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. --- Possibly (talk) 08:16, 24 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

The sources from https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/tv/news "e-News" are just paid advertising. But maybe you knew that already!--- Possibly (talk) 08:38, 24 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
@Possibly: Millions of pages are up on the internet that have cited from Times of India.

Some are Chuni Panna, Mohor, Dibyojyoti Dutta, Rahul Banerjee, Nusrat Jahan, and so I have also done the same thing to my article. And I really don't find a cause for it to be deleted. Mynameisparitoshmandal (talk) 09:41, 24 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

Request for unblock edit

Request reason:

I have never done disruptive editing. I only created a page Annwesha Hazra. It is because I had been paid for it. Some said that it is an advertisement, but there is not a single word in that page which says that it is an advertisement. And some also said that it does not meet WP:GNG. But, how can I make my client understand these. BUt amidist all these, I have never done anything wrong, for myself to be blocked. Respected administrator, please unblock me. Yours faithfully Mynameisparitoshmandal (talk) 04:12, 26 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

It's advertising because you are just telling about the person; you don't have to be shopping your client around for customers to be promoting them. The larger concern here is your actions to protect what you wrote from deletion, including harassing the user who nominated the article at issue for deletion with unfounded reports of misbehavior. If you are unable to accept what the community decides with regards to your work, you shouldn't be editing here, and if you are being specifically paid to write this article, you will need to return the money and find something else to do. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 09:09, 26 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
