Macmillan audio edit

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Macmillan audio, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://us.macmillan.com/splash/publishers/macmillan-audio.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. Speedy deletion of Quick and Dirty Tips edit

A tag has been placed on Quick and Dirty Tips, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the article or have a copy emailed to you. Request reason:

I am a freelance web developer working for MacMillan Publishing and my assignment is to create Wiki pages for each of the divisions of MacMillan Publishing. The materials I am posting on the Wiki pages have been given to me by my supervisor at MacMillan. I don't feel that I am in breech of any copyright infringement by creating these pages. I will rewrite the materials so they are not in any way similar to that on the MacMillan web sites. I would appreciate if you could permit my profile to be unblocked. Myannetta (talk) 17:31, 25 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

I'm afraid you're going to have to tell your supervisor that you cannot your assignment. We are not a host for you to advertise your company, buy some advertising space somewhere if you want to do that. You should not be writing about a subject with which you have a conflict of interest, which you clearly do, if the subjects you are writing about are truly notable, someone else will write about them, although the individual divisions of a company rarely are notable— Jac16888Talk 17:46, 25 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
